Philosophy of Care: As a family physician, I see myself as a patient advocate and an expert in a broad range of medical problems across the entire age spectrum. I try to deliver patient centered care, paying close attention to the individual’s concerns in the context of their unique environment. I have delivered babies who are now graduating from high school and this is deeply fulfilling. I endeavor to deliver medical care that has sound scientific evidence behind it. Most of all, I simply enjoy people and love getting to know my patients and their families.

Special Medical Interests: Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Adolescent Medicine, Geriatrics, HIV/AIDS, mental health and cross cultural health care. I have a special interest in the care of immigrants who are seeking asylum in the United States.
